Heine Totland, born on October 16, 1970 in Moster, Bømlo, Norway, is a Norwegian-Danish singer. He studied at the Music College at Stord and Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. In 1995, he began his professional career as an artist living in Oslo. Totland was one of the initiators of the male vocal group Gli Scapoli. He has played leading roles in several musicals, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, and Chess. In 2005, he released his debut solo album, Tough Times for Gentlemen, which entered into the top 20 pop charts. Totland has performed extensively in Norway and internationally, including appearances at the Royal Castle and various TV gala shows.
