Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby, known professionally as Hank von Helvete and Hank von Hell, was born on June 15, 1972, in Vestvågøy Municipality, Norway. He started his music career with the punk band INRI, releasing the EP Breakfast Serial X in 1992. The following year, Husby joined Turbonegro as their lead vocalist. With Turbonegro, he released several studio albums, including Never Is Forever, Ass Cobra, and Apocalypse Dudes. In 1998, the band disbanded due to Husby's drug addiction but reunited in 2002 after his rehab. He left Turbonegro in 2010 to focus on other projects and achieved a Number 1 single on the Norwegian Singles Chart with "Rom for Alle" in 2009 with Maria Solheim. In 2018, Husby released his debut solo album, Egomania, followed by Dead in 2020. He died on November 19, 2021, at the age of 49.
