Veronika Skuplik, born in 1964, is a German violinist and conductor. She began playing the violin at age nine and studied at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and the Bremen University of the Arts, earning her diploma in Baroque violin in 1991. Skuplik's career includes performances with ensembles such as Concerto Palatino, Ensemble Movimento, L'Arpeggiata, and Cantus Cölln. She has also served as concertmaster or musical leader for groups like La Stravaganza Köln and the Holland Baroque Society. Her discography spanned over 70 CDs, with notable releases including Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern with Ensemble Chelycus in 2008 and her solo album Violino I in 2014. Skuplik was also a resident artist at the Festival Oude Muziek in Utrecht (2011) and the Festivalul de Muzică Veche in Timișoara (2012).
