Dalva de Oliveira was a legendary Brazilian singer and a defining voice of the "Radio Era." She began her career at sixteen, performing with Antônio Zovetti’s group before joining Rádio Mayrink Veiga. In 1937, she formed the acclaimed Trio de Ouro with Herivelto Martins and Nilo Chagas, a collaboration that lasted until 1949. Her solo breakthrough featured landmark recordings such as "Segredo" (1947), "Tudo acabado" (1950), and "Teus olhos verdes" (1961). Known for her impressive vocal range, she released influential albums, including A voz sentimental do Brasil (1953) and Dalva de Oliveira (1958). She frequently recorded with her son, Pery Ribeiro, and expanded her international reach through tours in Argentina and Europe.
