Giovanni Marradi, born in 1952, is a composer, pianist, arranger, and television presenter. He began playing piano at age five and studied composition and technique with Michael Cheskinov at the Russian Conservatory. As a young adult, he performed throughout Europe and the Middle East before moving to California. Marradi's breakthrough came when he was asked to perform at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. His career took off with notable album releases such as Giovanni (1992) and What If (1993). He formed his own label, NewCastle Records, in 1995 and later signed with Atlantic Records in 1998, releasing his label debut album Destiny. Marradi's television series Giovanni's World of Music, broadcast on stations worldwide. In November 2015, he performed a sold-out concert in Beijing, China at the Great Hall of the People.
