Andreas Holm

Hans‑Joachim Hirschler, known professionally as Andreas Holm, was born on October 22, 1942, in Berlin, and is a German pop singer and composer. After training in piano and violin with his father and a stint in the Berlin State Opera children’s choir, he entered the music scene in 1965 with the single "Bin schon vergeben / Es wird dir leid tun, sagst du bye. He released five LPs and 31 singles through Amiga and also appeared in numerous radio and television productions. From 1997, he performed with Thomas Lück, whom he had previously worked with in the Manfred Lindenberg Sextet. The duo performed at live events and recorded several CDs, many of which featured songs written by Andreas Holm. After Lück retired from performing for health reasons in 2019, he resumed performing as a solo artist later that year.
