Les Ours du Scorff, a French group specializing in Breton music for children, was formed in 1994 by Gilbert Bourdin and Laurent Jouin. The group blended Breton traditions with jazz, Irish music, and influences from Eastern Europe and bluegrass. Their debut album, Les Ours du Scorff (1994), released under the name Gigi Bourdin et la Rouchta, won the Grand Prix du disque de l'Académie Charles-Cros in 1995. Their subsequent albums include La Maison des Bisous (1998), Le Grand Bal (1998), Le Retour D'Oné (2000), and La bonne pêche (2005). In 2013, Bourdin and Jouin released an album for adults under the name Les Ânes de Bretagne. After a hiatus, Les Ours du Scorff returned with Le Chant des Deux Sources in 2015.
