Mika Arisaka, born 28 June 1974 in Kamakura, Japan, is a Japanese‑American singer whose bilingual upbringing enabled performances in both English and Japanese. After studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, she entered the industry with the single "infinite∞RYVIUS [dis-]" in 1999, followed by "dis-" the same year, establishing her presence in the Japanese market. Her early work included the album Over The Dream (2000), which contained the title track "Over The Dream" that later served as the second ending theme for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny and reached number one on the Oricon daily chart on its release day and number four on the weekly chart. In 2002, she released Getsumei Fuuei, expanding her catalog. Arisaka contributed to the soundtracks of Infinite Ryvius, The Twelve Kingdoms, and Phantasy Star Online 2, providing the ending themes "Living on like stars" and "Crying Your Phantasy". She also collaborated with Jazztronik on GRAND BLUE, appearing on the track "Sanctuary" (2007). Her later albums TV Song Book 1999‑2006 (2006) and Aquantum (2008) consolidated her career, while singles such as "Life Goes On" (2005) continued to chart.
