Hōko Kuwashima (桑島法子), born 12 December 1975 in Kanegasaki, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese voice actress and singer. After early training in vocal performance, she debuted in 1998 with the single "Believe" and the unreleased track "海から生まれた子供たち". Her first album, realigi, was issued on 26 July 2000, followed by Flores ~死者への花束 on 12 December 2001, which showcased her blend of electronic, metal, rap, and rock styles. In 2002 she released db/songbook feat.桑島法子, a collaborative project that broadened her audience. The 2005 album 純色brilliant continued her experimental trajectory, and her most recent studio effort, HouKo ChroniCle, arrived on 21 October 2015 under Victor Entertainment. Throughout her career, Hōko Kuwashima contributed to numerous anime soundtracks, including Martian Successor Nadesico and Bleach, and voiced characters in series such as Angel Layer and Black Lagoon.
