Oriol Pons i Mir, known professionally as Oriol Tramvia, is a Spanish singer and songwriter, born on March 14, 1951, in Barcelona, Spain. In 1976, Oriol Tramvia gained recognition as a member of the Grup de Folk with the live album Bèstia!, recorded at Sala Zeleste. The title track "Bèstia!" became notable, and the album featured musical adaptations of works by poets Joan Salvat-Papasseit and Salvador Espriu, along with reinterpretations of traditional songs like "La prisión de Lleida" in a rock style. He is considered a pioneer of Catalan rock, performing at festivals such as Canet Rock in 1976 and 1977.
