Joanne Lunn, born in 1973 in England, is a classical soprano known for her work in opera and concert performances. She studied at the Royal College of Music, graduating with the Tagore Gold Medal. Lunn's early career included roles in Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea, Gluck's operas Orfeo ed Euridice and Alceste, and Verdi's Falstaff. In 2004, she appeared as Helena in Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, conducted by John Eliot Gardiner. Lunn participated in the Bach Cantata Pilgrimage with the Monteverdi Choir in 2000, performing and recording the complete church cantatas of J.S. Bach. She performed Bach's St Matthew Passion with various orchestras and conductors, including Roger Norrington and Philippe Herreweghe.
