Stefan Allan Ljungqvist, born on September 4, 1948, in Gothenburg, Sweden, was a Swedish singer and actor. He began his career in the late 1960s as a member of the band Jokers and performed as a troubadour under the stage name Trubadur X. In the early 1970s, Ljungqvist studied at the University College of Opera, launching his professional career as an opera bass singer. He performed in operas, musicals, and revues, and entered the Svensktoppen chart twice with the singles "Det är så hälsosamt och stärkande i fjällen" and "Evert.” Ljungqvist's acting career included notable roles such as Evald Larsson in the long-running SVT television series Polisen i Strömstad. He also contributed to Swedish dubbing, voicing characters like Claude Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and John Ratcliffe in Pocahontas. Ljungqvist passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 74.
