Vidar Lønn-Arnesen (born on June 22, 1940) was a Norwegian singer, radio presenter, and television host from Lardal. Lønn-Arnesen began his career in the 1950s as a local entertainer and pirate radio personality before joining the pop group Tre Tainers from 1960 to 1964. Hired by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in 1962, he presented the radio program Ti i skuddet from 1965 to 1970 and from 1981 to 1991. His radio career included hosting Western Saloon, Norsktoppen, and Alle tiders blinkskudd. Lønn-Arnesen hosted the Melodi Grand Prix in 1972, 1973, 1974, and 1977. From 1991 to 2001, he presented the television program Da Capo!. His discography included solo albums such as Vidar synger Prøysen (1974) and Á la da Capo! (1999). In 2010, Lønn-Arnesen received the King's Medal of Merit in gold. Vidar Lønn-Arnesen died on October 17, 2025.
