Elisabeth Granneman, born Inger Elisabeth Fauk on May 11, 1930, in Bergen, Norway, was a Norwegian actress, singer, musician, and writer. She studied with Robert Riefling and debuted at the Chat Noir theater with Jens Book-Jenssen. Granneman gained recognition as "the singing housewife from Lørenskog." Her breakthrough came through her participation in the Melodi Grand Prix, winning the 1964 edition with "Spiral", performed by Arne Bendiksen at the Eurovision Song Contest 1964. She also competed in the Melodi Grand Prix in 1962 and 1969. Throughout her career, Granneman released music through various labels including Philips, Triola, and Polydor. Notable singles include "Alle venter på sommer" (1960) and "Omatt og omatt" (1962). She received the Premio Leif Justers in 1984 and the Leonard Statuette in 1986. Granneman authored several children's books and composed numerous songs. Her health declined significantly in her later years, leading to her death on March 28, 1992.
