Corin Curschellas was born on July 2, 1956, in Chur, Switzerland. She studied musicology at the University of Zurich. From 1977 to 1983, she collaborated with Walter Lietha, producing albums such as Die Fahrenda and Liebi Schwiizer guet Nacht. She released her debut album Music Loves Me (1992), followed by Rappa Nomada (1995), Valdun – Voices of Rumantsch (1997), and Goodbye Gary Cooper (1999). From 1993 to 1997, she was the lead singer for the Vienna Art Orchestra, and toured with them again in 2009. She received music awards including the "Atelier Paris" of the GSMBA in 1991 and the Schweizer Musikpreis (Swiss Music Award) in 2014.
