Zaunpfahl, a German punk rock band from Teterow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, was founded in 1994. The original lineup included Gogo on drums, Goethe and Marko on guitars, and Thom on bass and vocals. The band's career featured numerous album releases, including Zum Lügen ist es längst zu spät in 1995, Normalböse in 1999, and Gesicht in 2001. Zaunpfahl's political and societal themes resonated with audiences, leading to extensive touring; they performed approximately 800 concerts throughout their career. Other notable releases include the DVD Ob ihr’s glaubt oder nicht (2007) and the live album Ich war dabei (2008). In March 2024, Zaunpfahl transitioned into a new project called Normalböse, consisting of Olli, Gogo, and Thom.
