Pedro Bacán Peña was born on February 12, 1951, in Lebrija, Spain. He was a flamenco guitarist and composer. He received his first guitar around age 13, learning from maestro Penaca and his cousin Pedro. His breakthrough came through Miguel Funi, who welcomed him as a guitarist and introduced him to artistic circuits. His career thrived in France, which became his second city of residence, where he performed numerous shows and recitals. He collaborated with figures like Miguel Alcalá, Federico Deval, and Carola Fierz, leading to the production of his sole solo album Aluricán (1989). He appeared in the film Pedro Bacan et le Clan des Pinini. He died on January 26, 1997, following a car accident.
