Riccardo Tesi, born in 1956 in Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy, is an Italian composer and musician, specializing in the diatonic accordion or melodeon. In 1983, he released his first album, Il Ballo Della Lepre, with Alberto Balia and Daniele Craighead. Throughout the 1990s, Tesi continued to release albums including Véranda (1990), Colline (1994), and Banditaliana (1998). He has collaborated with notable musicians such as Elena Ledda, Piero Pelu, Ivano Fossati, Ornella Vanoni, Patrick Vaillant, and Fabrizio De André. His album releases continued into the 2000s and beyond, including Thapsos (2001) and PresenteRemoto (2008).
