Madoka Inui, born in Kobe, Japan, before 1980, is a classical pianist who began her musical journey with piano lessons in Tokyo. She studied at the Vienna Conservatory under Dianko Iliew and Roland Batik, graduating with distinction. Inui's breakthrough came in 1995 when she won the International Piano Competition "Citta di Stresa." She subsequently settled in Vienna, performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician. Her discography includes notable collaborations such as Brahms, R. Strauss & J. Strauss with Franz Bartolomey on RCA Red Seal and ORF (2001), and various releases under the Naxos label, including The Art of the Clarinet (2003) and The Art of the Vienna Horn (2004).
