The Xyrion Trio, a piano trio, was founded in 2001 and consisted of Nina Tichman on piano, Ida Bieler on violin, and Maria Kliegel on cello. The trio performed in major cities across Europe and at international festivals such as the Beethovenfest Bonn, Ludwigsburger Schloßkonzerte, and Rheinische Musikfest. In 2007, they assumed the artistic directorship of the Andernacher Musiktage, an annual event held in May. The Xyrion Trio has released several albums, notably a series of Beethoven's complete piano trios for the Naxos label, including Beethoven: Trios Pour Piano Op. 1 N° 1 & 2 (volume 2) (2007) and Beethoven: Trios Pour Piano (volume 3) (2009).
