Konstantin Shamray, born on May 27, 1985, in Novosibirsk, Soviet Union, is a classical pianist. He studied at the Kemerovo Music School and later at the Gnessin Special School of Music in Moscow. Shamray won a third prize win at the Young Pianists Competition in Senigallia at age ten. He went on to win first prizes in the Sydney International Piano Competition in 2008 and the Kissinger Klavierolymp in October 2011. Following his victory in Sydney, Shamray performed extensively across Australia, Europe, and Asia and in festivals such as the Ruhr Klavier Festival, the Bochum Festival and Kissinger Sommer in Germany, and the White Nights Festival in St. Petersburg. He has produced several albums, including Idle Hands released in 2020.
