The Flinders Quartet, an Australian string quartet, was formed in 2000 by Helen Ireland, Zoe Knighton, Matthew Tomkins, and Erica Kennedy. In 2012, Helen Ayres and Shane Chen replaced Tomkins and Kennedy. Ayres was subsequently replaced by Nicholas Waters in 2015. The quartet's discography includes Live, released in 2004, and several albums on ABC Classics, including Reinventions (2015) and Intimate Voices: Sibelius String Quartets (2015). Notably, their collaboration with Karin Schaupp resulted in the album Fandango, which was nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Classical Album in 2011.
