Kalevi Aulis Olli, born on May 28, 1951, in Helsinki, Finland, is a Finnish opera singer, composer, and conductor. He began studying music in 1960, focusing on clarinet, violin, piano, and composition. Olli founded the folk rock band Rahapula in 1972, releasing the album Lempiaihe in 1974. He studied composition at the Sibelius Academy and singing under Pekka Salomaa, graduating in 1976. Olli also made his operatic debut as Silvano in Giuseppe Verdi's Un ballo in maschera at the Finnish National Opera that year. From 1978 to 1986, he was a member of the Frankfurt am Main Opera. Olli performed internationally and collaborated with pianist Ulrich Koneffke on recordings such as Robert Schumann's "Dichterliebe, Op. 48" (1985) Franz Schubert's "Schwanengesang" (1986). He was also a member of the Finnish National Opera from 1995 to 2007.
