Useless ID are an Israeli punk rock band from Haifa formed in 1994. The ensemble was founded by Guy Carmel, Ralf Hober, Adi Elkabets, and Nadav Elkabets, initially releasing the studio recordings Dead's Not Punk (1997) and Get in the Pita Bread Pit (1999) through their independent label Falafel Records. They achieved professional recognition in 1999 with the split recording Let It Burn (1999), and the track “Too Bad You Don't Get It” (1999) was featured on the Fat Wreck Chords compilation Short Music for Short People. Following the addition of Yotam Ben-Horin as lead vocalist, they released the studio recording Bad Story, Happy Ending (2001), produced by Kris Roe. Their recording career includes the studio recordings No Vacation from the World (2003) and Redemption (2005), the latter produced by Bill Stevenson. Their discography includes a collaborative studio recording with the artist Muki titled Muki & Useless ID (2010) and the studio recordings Symptoms (2012) and State Is Burning (2016).
