Yehudit Ravitz, born on December 29, 1956, in Beersheba, Israel, is a singer-songwriter. During her military service, she joined the Israeli rock group Sheshet and gained recognition for performing "Slichot" at the Israel Song Festival in 1977. This performance marked the beginning of her solo career. In 1978, Ravitz participated in Eretz Tropit Yafa, a musical project adapting Brazilian music into Hebrew. She released her debut album Yehudit Ravitz in 1979 and continued with notable releases such as Covered And Discovered (1980), Coming From Love (1987), and Sandstorms (2012). Ravitz has collaborated with various artists, including Gidi Gov, Yoni Rechter, David Broza, Corinne Allal, and Esther Ofarim. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award from ACUM in 2022.
