Pedro Nicasio Riolobos, known professionally as Daniel Riolobos, was born on December 14, 1932, in Godoy Cruz, Mendoza, Argentina. He started his singing career at age five and later moved to Buenos Aires, collaborating with pianist Roberto Inglez and touring Latin America from the 1950s. Riolobos gained prominence as a crooner in Chile before launching his solo career in Venezuela, Cuba, Puerto Rico, USA, and Mexico, where he settled in 1958. Riolobos released several albums throughout his career, including Romántico (1968) and El estilo sin edad (1976). Notable achievements include winning the Premio Azteca al Mejor Cantante Internacional in 1963 and the Second Buenos Aires Festival of Song in 1968 with the song "No es un juego el amor". In 1985, he received the Premio Konex de Platino for Música Popular - Cantante Melódico. Riolobos passed away on June 17, 1992, in Mexico due to a heart condition.
