Pascal Godart, born in 1971 in Calais, France, is a French classical pianist. Godart began studying the piano at the age of five under Renée Entremont. He later studied with Yvonne Loriod-Messiaen and earned top honors in piano, chamber music, and accompaniment at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris. Godart's breakthrough came through international competitions, including wins at the Porto International Piano Competition (1990) and the Maria Callas Grand Prix in Athens (1996). He performed with notable orchestras such as the Orchestre Pasdeloup and the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring works by Ravel, Rachmaninov, and Beethoven. As a chamber musician, Godart collaborated with artists like Latica Honda-Rosenberg and Natalia Gutman. Godart's discography includes recordings of works by Bach, Liszt, and Saint-Saëns. He served as a professor at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in 2010 and served as a jury member for prestigious piano competitions.
