Marie Julia Florence Delaage, born on June 1, 1943, in Dinard, is a French pianist. Her mother, a musician, introduced her to the piano at a young age. At a very young age, she performed for Alfred Cortot, who became her mentor. She left the Conservatoire de Paris to study under Cortot in Lausanne. Delaage's career began with a concert in Florence's Palazzo Pitti gardens and included performances at notable venues like Paris' Salle Gaveau and Salle Pleyel. She also performed extensively internationally, notably the annual Wagner-Liszt transcriptions at Bayreuth. Delaage was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur in 2016. Notable albums include Endless Wagner (2017) and Les Roses du Bengale (2019).
