Flavia Fortunato, born on March 16, 1964, in Cosenza, Italy, is an Italian singer, television host, and radio host. She debuted as a singer with the single "Delirio" in 1982 under the label Yep and participated in the Sanremo Festival the following year with "Casco blu", reaching number 13. Fortunato released her debut album Flavia in 1984 and returned to the Sanremo Festival multiple times, notably in 1986 with "Verso il 2000" and in 1987 with "Canto per te". Her single "Aspettami ogni sera" gained recognition in Germany through an appearance on the ARD television show Musikladen in May 1984. Fortunato's other notable albums include Piccole danze (1990) and Le donne chi sono (1991). She retired from music to focus on theater and television before stepping back from show business entirely to focus on family life.
