Glenn Anthony Richards is an Australian musician born on December 29, 1973, in Shepparton. He worked on the docks in Fremantle to purchase his first guitar. In 1995, Richards joined the rock ensemble Augie March. The group released seven studio albums and two extended plays, including Sunset Studies and Moo, You Bloody Choir. In 2006, Richards released the solo extended play Closed Off, Cold & Bitter – Life as a Can of Beer. He received the 2007 APRA Awards for Song of the Year for “One Crowded Hour” and Breakthrough Songwriter. Richards released the studio album Glimjack in 2010, which reached number 60 on the Australian chart and featured the single “Torpor and Spleen”. He also recorded an extended play as G.A. Richards and the Dark Satanic Mills Bros. In 2023, he composed the original score for the film Late Night with the Devil.
