4 PS was a rock music group from Germany, formed in 1977 following a split within Veronika Fischer & Band. The founding members were Franz Bartzsch, Johannes Biebl, Frank Hille, and Michael Kaszubowski. In 1977, they released their debut single "Zweigroschenlied / Vor Unserem Hause" through Amiga Records. The band won the Grand Prix at the International Schlagerfestival Dresden in September of that year with "Zweigroschenlied". They presented a program featuring their own compositions and embarked on a tour across the Soviet Union. In 1979, Jürgen Ehle joined the band, leading to Veronika Fischer's return as part of Veronika Fischer & Band. The group renamed themselves as Pankow in 1981 following major lineup changes.
