Secret Affair, a British musical group from the United Kingdom, was formed in 1978 by Ian Page on vocals and David Cairns on guitars. After writing songs that would form the basis for their first two albums, they recruited Dennis Smith on bass, Seb Shelton on drums, and Dave Winthrop on saxophone. Secret Affair released their debut album Glory Boys in 1979, which peaked at number 41 on the UK charts. Their follow-up albums were Behind Closed Doors (1980), reaching number 48, and Business As Usual (1982), peaking at number 84. The band disbanded in 1982. Secret Affair reformed in June 2002 for a series of concerts, including a performance at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire. They continued to perform and release compilations such as Time For Action: The Anthology (2003) and Mod Singles Collection (2010). In 2012, they released their fourth studio album, Soho Dreams, supported by a UK tour. Notable achievements include re-recording "Time For Action" for Save the Children in July 2011 and appearing on BBC Two's Never Mind The Buzzcocks in December of the same year.
