Locanda delle Fate, an Italian progressive rock group formed in 1974, emerged from Italy's vibrant music scene. Their debut album, Forse le lucciole non si amano più (1977), was released on Polydor Records and showcased a blend of progressive rock. The band initially consisted of Leonardo Sasso (vocals), Ezio Vevy (guitar, vocals), Alberto Gaviglio (guitar, vocals), Michele Conta (keyboards), Oscar Mazzoglio (keyboards), Luciano Boero (bass), and Giorgio Gardino (percussions). Following the release of two singles in 1978 ("New York" / "Nove Lune") and 1980 ("Annalisa" / "Volare un po' più in alto"), the group disbanded in 1980. In 1999, Locanda delle Fate reunited without Sasso to release their second album, Homo homini lupus. The band embarked on a tour in 2015.
