Quella Vecchia Locanda was an Italian progressive rock band formed in 1970 and initially consisted of Giorgio Giorgi on vocals and flute, Raimondo Maria Cocco on guitar and clarinet, Massimo Roselli on keyboards and vocals, Romualdo Coletta on bass, and Patrick Traina on drums and percussion. They gained a loyal following through live performances and released their first single in 1971 as part of a progressive rock compilation. Their debut album, Quella Vecchia Locanda, was released in 1972 and featured the addition of American violinist Donald Lax. In 1974, they released their second album, Il Tempo Della Gioia. Quella Vecchia Locanda disbanded later that year. Post-breakup, their live album, Live, was released in 1993.
