Bestial Mockery are a Swedish black metal band from Uddevalla that formed in 1995. The group was founded by Carl "Master Motorsåg" Bildt, Micke "Doomanfanger" Petersson, Jocke "Christcrusher", and Carl "Warslaughter". They released several demos during their early years, including Battle Promo (1996) and Christcrushing Hammerchainsaw (1997). Their debut studio album, Christcrushing Hammerchainsaw, was released in 2002 through Metal Blood Music. They followed this with the albums Evoke the Desecrator (2003) and Gospel of the Insane (2006), both released on Osmose Productions. Their final studio album, Slaying the Life, was released in 2007, through the label Season of Mist. The ensemble also produced a large number of standalone EPs and split releases with other underground metal acts. Although they disbanded in 2008, the band resumed activity in 2011. The last known lineup included Bildt, Petersson, and Warslaughter alongside Aggressive Protector and Rob Devilpig
