Black Witchery, an American extreme metal band from Winter Springs, Florida, formed in 1999. Initially known as Witchery, they changed their name to avoid confusion with a Swedish band of the same name. The group released their debut full-length album, Desecration of the Holy Kingdom, in 2001 through Full Moon Productions. In 2005, they signed with Osmose Productions for their second album, Upheaval of Satanic Might. Their third full-length album, Inferno of Sacred Destruction, followed in 2010. Former guitarist Steve "Tregenda" Childers died in a car accident on February 2, 2016.
