Mystifier, a Brazilian black metal band from Salvador, Bahia. The group's early releases included two demos and an EP between 1989 and 1991, leading to their debut album Wicca in 1992 under Heavy Metal Maniac Records and Osmose Productions. Their discography spans notable albums such as Göetia (1993), The World is So Good That Who Made It Doesn't Live Here (1996), and Profanus (2001). Mystifier also contributed cover versions to tribute compilations, including "Phantom Lord" for Overload 2 - A Tribute to Metallica and "Warriors Of Death" for Sepulchral Feast: A Tribute to Sepultura. The band's music has been featured in the soundtrack of the film Gummo, and their later albums include Protogoni Mavri Magiki Dynasteia (2019) under Season of Mist and a split album with the band Lucifer's Child, Under Satan's Wrath (2022).
