Ravindra Sathe, born on February 7, 1951, in Pune, India, is an Indian playback singer known for his contributions to the Marathi film industry. He began singing at a young age, performing Sudhir Phadke's songs with remarkable accuracy and later trained under Pandit Nagesh Khadilkar. Sathe made his debut in the Marathi film industry with the 1974 film Samna, singing "Kunachya Khandyavar Kunache Ozhe." He went on to collaborate with renowned music directors such as Gajanan Watave, Madhukar Golwalkar, and C. Ramchandra, releasing several devotional albums including Gaganee Ugawala Sayantara and Mohuniya Tuj Sang. Sathe won the Maharashtra State Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer ten times and received notable recognitions such as the V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award and the Balgandharva Award from Akhil Bharatiya Natya Parishad.
