Marco Paulo Matias, known professionally as Marco Matias, and born on June 17, 1975, in Germany to Portuguese immigrant parents, is a singer. He started his musical career at age ten performing with a game circus project organized by Caritas. At 16, he joined the band Lua Cheia and later gained studio experience with the Basement Kids, producing their CD Cry for Peace. He has released several CDs including Heimatlos featuring Judith K. (1999) and Träume with Suzana (1999). In 2006, Matias represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest as part of six4one with "If We All Give A Little."
