Arnþór Birgisson, born on February 12, 1976, in Reykjavik, Iceland, is an Icelandic-Swedish songwriter and producer who moved to Sweden in 1978. He began his professional career in 1996 at Cosmos Studios with Kent Isaacs and Bloodshy. His breakthrough came in 1998 with the song "Because of You" for 98 Degrees. During his tenure at Murlyn Music (1997-2003), Birgisson collaborated with notable artists such as Janet Jackson, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, and Celine Dion. In 2005, he won Best Pop Song at the BMI London Awards for "All Nite (Don't Stop)" by Janet Jackson. From 2003 to 2008, Birgisson worked at Maratone, creating songs for Enrique Iglesias and Westlife. In 2008, he founded Aristotracks with Linus Andreen and Emilia de Poret, producing hits for Britney Spears and Leona Lewis.
