Belgian harpsichordist, pianist and conductor Jos van Immerseel is a free electron navigating between Baroque and contemporary music. Anxious to breathe new life into works, whether ancient, little-known or simply essential, Jos van Immerseel eschews musical archaeology and the sacralization of "playing as it was in the past", dusting off the works to interpret them with life, and incidentally with period instruments. Founder of the Anima Eterna ensemble, Jos van Immerseel's recordings for Sony and Zig Zag Territoires range from Poulenc to Baroque, Berlioz, Beethoven, Debussy and Rimsky-Korsakov.
