The Hit Parade, a British indie pop band from London, was formed in 1984 by Julian Henry, Raymond Watts, and Matthew Moffatt. The group released their first single "Forever" that same year. Their subsequent singles "My Favourite Girl" and "The Sun Shines in Gerrards Cross" garnered attention from the pop press and airplay on BBC Radio 1. In 1988, their debut LP With Love From The Hit Parade was released to mixed reviews but has since been re-issued multiple times and is considered an indie classic. The band signed with Sarah Records in the 1990s and later with Vinyl Japan and Polystar Records, achieving a minor hit with "Hello Hannah Hello" and touring extensively in Japan.
