Krabathor, a Czech death metal band from Uherské Hradiště, was founded in 1984 by vocalist and guitarist Petr "Christopher" Kryštof. The group initially released several demos, including Breath of Death, Total Destruction, and Brutal Death, under the name Krabator in 1988. In 1992, they signed with Monitor Records and released their debut studio album, Only Our Death Is Welcome..., followed by Cool Mortification in 1993. The band's subsequent releases included Lies (1995), supported by a European tour with Impaled Nazarene, and Orthodox (1998), which featured extensive touring with Cannibal Corpse and Malevolent Creation. In 2003, after releasing Dissuade Truth, Krabathor went on an indefinite hiatus following their last concert at the inaugural Basinfirefest in Spálené Poříčí. The band reunited in 2014 for a show at the Brutal Assault festival and continued to perform sporadically until 2023. They released Demonizer / Mortal Memories II (2021), a compilation of their early demos.
