Jets To Brazil was an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 1997 by Blake Schwarzenbach and Jeremy Chatelain, the group initially worked on four-track recordings aided by drum machines before signing to Jade Tree Records. Their debut album, Orange Rhyming Dictionary, released in 1998, received critical acclaim and was followed by extensive touring with bands like The Promise Ring. The band's second album, Four Cornered Night, was released in 2000 and featured new guitarist Brian Maryansky. Their final album, Perfecting Loneliness, was released in 2002. By the fall of 2003, Jets to Brazil disbanded for unspecified reasons.
