Yvonne Lefébure was a French pianist. She entered the Conservatoire national de musique et de déclamation in Paris at the age of nine, studying with Alfred Cortot, Maurice Emmanuel, and Charles-Marie Widor. As a child prodigy, she won a first prize in piano at age fourteen, along with several other prizes. Lefébure performed with major orchestras and collaborated with composers such as Gabriel Fauré, Maurice Ravel, and Paul Dukas, as well as leading conductors including Wilhelm Furtwängler and Adrian Boult. She taught at institutions including the École Normale de Musique de Paris, the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris, and the Conservatoire Européen de Musique de Paris. Her discography includes works by Schubert, Beethoven, Bach, Debussy, Fauré, and Dukas. She died on January 23, 1986 in Paris.
