Tammy Lee Grimes, also known as Tammy Grimes, born on January 30, 1934, in Lynn, Massachusetts, was an American film, television, stage actress and singer. Initially known for her acting career, Grimes made her mark in theater, television, and film before venturing into music. Her breakthrough role came with The Tammy Grimes Show (1966). In the same year, she released the one-off single, "The Big Hurt / Nobody Needs Your Love More Than I Do". Grimes' acting career spanned decades, earning her a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play in 1970. She passed away on October 30, 2016, in Englewood, New Jersey.
