Domenic Landolf is a Swiss jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer born in 1969 in Bern. He studied at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern under Andy Scherrer between 1988 and 1992. Landolf performed with the Joe Haider-Bert Joris Big Band and the sextet of Andy Scherrer. He collaborated with musicians including Gunther Schuller, Joe Lovano, and Reggie Johnson. His debut studio recording, Levitation, was released in 1999 and featured his quartet. His discography included the studio recordings Wanderlust (2003) and New Brighton (2010), the latter featuring a trio without a harmony instrument. Between 2002 and 2006, he recorded trio albums with changing bassists, initially including his brother. In 2019, he released the album Benign through the ANUK Label. Landolf performed on tenor and soprano saxophone, clarinet, bass clarinet, and flute. He taught saxophone at the Jazzcampus of the Musikhochschule Basel.
