Leonardo García-Alarcón (b. 1976) is an Argentine conductor specializing in Baroque music. A pupil of Gabriel Garrido, he formed the ensemble La Capella Mediterranea, with whom he recorded Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), and tours the European festivals. This professor at the Geneva Conservatory has also recorded with Ensemble Clematis (Frescobaldi). A regular guest at the Festival d'Ambronay, in the Ain region, he recorded the opera Il Diluvio Universale, which won a Diapason d'or in 2011.
