In 1972, after releasing their debut EP and achieving mainstream popularity with hits like "Czerwone słoneczko" and "Chodź, pomaluj mój świat", the band recorded their first LP Nowy wspaniały świat, which included popular songs such as "Wstawaj, szkoda dnia" and "Hej, dogonię lato". The album was certified Gold. In 1973, they performed on German TV and at the Opole Festival, where they received an award for "Codzienność". Their second LP Wyspa dzieci, released in 1975, was another success featuring hits like "Gwiazda dnia" and "Kołysanka matki". The band's artistic development continued with the release of Aktor in 1977, a suite honoring Polish actor Zbigniew Cybulski. In 1978, they released Teatr na drodze, which included one of their biggest hits "Windą do nieba". The band enjoyed international success with songs like "Easy Come, Easy Go" and "Singapore", performing in countries such as Germany, the Soviet Union, the United States, Canada, and Cuba.
