Roland Krüger, born in 1973 in Germany, is a pianist and music educator. He studied under Oleg Maisenberg, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, and Krystian Zimerman. In 2001, Krüger won the first prize and the audience award at the Geneva International Music Competition. His concert career spans performances with notable orchestras such as the Belgian National Orchestra and the NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Hanover. Krüger has released several albums, including 12 Etüden von Debussy (Ars Musici) and works by Franz Schubert, Leoš Janáček, Bela Bartòk, Joseph Merk, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Nepomuk Hummel, and Carl Reinecke for various labels. In addition to his performing career, Krüger is a respected music educator, serving as a professor at the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media since 2007 and conducting masterclasses worldwide.
